The building's location is unbeatable, with the convenience of Trader Joe's and proximity to BART and bus routes to campus. The quality of the laundry and kitchen appliances has impressed me, and the clean, safe environment makes for a pleasant living space. Not to mention, the roof deck is a fantastic place to relax and enjoy the view.
I've found the resident managers to be very responsive and efficient in dealing with any issues that have arisen during my three-year stay. They've ensured that the building remains a comfortable and secure place to live. The owners and staff have been proactive in maintaining the building to a high standard.
Living here has been an absolute pleasure. The well-equipped units and the stunning rooftop terrace have really made my stay memorable. The location is super convenient for anyone attending UC Berkeley or working nearby, and I've never had any trouble with the basic services or maintenance of my apartment.
The resident managers and apartment managers have been nothing but kind and responsive. Whenever there was a minor issue, they handled it swiftly, showing great care and attention. Their professionalism is truly commendable, and it's clear they want residents to have a comfortable and hassle-free experience.
I'm ecstatic about the apartment building! It's been a breeze living here, with a spotless environment and amenities that are just top-notch. The rooftop deck has become my favorite spot, offering breathtaking views that never get old. Plus, the convenience of having Trader Joe's right downstairs has made grocery shopping a joy rather than a chore.
The landlord and management team here are stellar. Anytime I needed assistance, they were on it like lightning, making sure everything in my apartment was running smoothly. They're always there to lend a hand, and their quick responses have truly made my living experience stress-free. Gabrielle, in particular, has been wonderful, always going above and beyond to help out.
The apartment complex certainly has its perks, being located right above Trader Joe's and close to the UC Berkeley campus. However, with recent management changes, the quality seems to have declined. Issues with plumbing and security have not been addressed promptly, which is a major concern for residents.
The new resident managers have been less than satisfactory, with slow response times and lackluster engagement with residents' concerns. It seems that they are not as dedicated as the previous team, which is a detriment to the living experience here. The owners and office staff need to step up their game to support their team better.
This apartment building has lived up to all its promises and then some. The modern amenities, especially the in-unit washer and dryer, have been fantastic. The secure parking and the proximity to campus have made my life so much easier. And the views from the top are just the cherry on top.
The management team has been very attentive. When I had a parking issue, they were quick to resolve it, and they've always been there to help with any other concerns. They have a way of making you feel truly taken care of, and their commitment to residents' satisfaction shines through.
The New Californian has been a godsend compared to other housing options in Berkeley. The modern facilities and the spacious units have made my stay here extremely comfortable. The added security of on-site managers and a safe mailroom has given me peace of mind, which is priceless.
Toby & Moto, the resident managers, have been incredible. They're always ready to assist with any issues, responding quickly to texts and calls. Their friendly demeanor and helpfulness have greatly enhanced my living experience here. The management team, led by Aurelia, has been accommodating and considerate, a true asset.
Living in this apartment has been an ordeal. The cleanliness was severely lacking upon moving in, and there are significant issues with the plumbing and central heating. The mold issue is concerning, and the overall maintenance of the building has been disappointing.
Unfortunately, the resident apartment manager has been unhelpful and challenging to communicate with due to language barriers. Responses from maintenance have been non-existent, which has only added to the frustration. The management's indifference to these problems has been quite disheartening.
This apartment complex has some serious issues. The building's interior needs attention, and there's a lack of enforcement when it comes to noise and security provisions. It's frustrating to see other nearby complexes offering better amenities and services.
Although the complex is not managed well, the resident managers—a couple—are doing their best with the limited resources provided to them. They've shown dedication and have managed to maintain some semblance of habitability. It's clear they need more support from management and owners to truly make a difference.
